	Jefferson Art Lighting Company has been involved with the following prominent projects: Commissioned to replicate the first electric light fixtures for Thomas Edison's, Menlo Park Lab, Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan John Bowditch, Curator, Edison Institute, Dearborn, Michigan Governor James J. Blanchard commissioned "North American Woodland," an engraved porcelain lithophane lamp depicting a white-tailed deer in its natural surrounding. This special limited edition was presented the nation's governors to commemorate Michigan's Sesquicentennial Celebration at the National Governors Association Conference in July, 1987. Commissioned by Climax Molybdenum of Ann Arbor, Michigan and NASA of Houston, Texas, to create ceramic funnels for pouring rare metal castings employed on the space vehicle, "Moon Rover."
